[1] How do I get started? 

Book a free 15 minute consultation with me! I also recommend contacting your insurance provider and inquiring about the coverage you have. ​If you're not ready schedule a consult yet, that's okay. Please fee free to send me an email with any questions you have.

[2] What do I ask my insurance provider? 

1. Do they cover Registered Psychotherapists, Registered Social Workers and/or Psychologists?

2.  What is the total amount of coverage I have for the year?

3. How much is covered per session? (i.e.: 100% or certain amount)

4. When does my coverage begin and end? (i.e.: December 31st or April 1st, etc.)

[3] Are your services covered by OHIP? 

Psychotherapy is not covered under OHIP. However, the majority of extended health benefits provide coverage. Connect with your insurance provider to confirm the details of your benefits.

[4] Do I need a referral from a family doctor and/or other service provider?

You  don't need a referral to book a consultation or a counseling session. You can book an appointment directly on our website.

[5] How do I pay for therapy sessions? 

Payment is provided at the end of sessions via e-transfer or cash, if it's in-person. 

 

I will provide you with a receipt which you can submit to your health insurance provider for reimbursement.
